Meet William L. Hanna, Ph.D., a psychology assistant with several years of experience working in the Columbus and Dayton areas. Dr. Hanna has a background in the criminal justice field and is familiar with concerns related to PTSD, critical incident situations, and working with families employed in the military and criminal justice fields.
Dr. Hanna offers a variety of services, including individual and group counseling, parent behavior management skills and training, and psychological assessments for cognitive functioning, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and other mental health concerns. He specializes in working with adolescents, depression, anxiety, grief and bereavement, and helping parents determine if their child’s behavior is a “phase” or a more serious concern, and can help develop social skills for children.
In addition to his work as a psychology assistant, Dr. Hanna is also an adjunct instructor at Columbus State Community College and has taught college courses at various colleges over the past 11 years. He primarily teaches courses in criminal justice and psychology.
