Meet Alicia Daniels, a Licensed Independent Social Worker who has been providing trauma-informed services to children and families since earning her Master of Arts degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2010.
Alicia has experience working with individuals with complex trauma, intergenerational trauma, family violence, physical/sexual/emotional abuse, exploitation, depression, anxiety, self-injurious behavior, suicidal ideation, parenting stress, and divorce.
Alicia utilizes models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Psychoeducation, Strengths Approach, and Motivational Interviewing when working with clients. She is particularly passionate about supporting parents who are struggling to cope with their child's mental health condition. Alicia believes in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship and treats every client with respect and dignity regardless of gender, age, race, sexual orientation, or spirituality. She is collaborative when working with clients and believes that every client possesses the inner resources and resilience to overcome their own obstacles.
